On December 15, 1890, Tatanka Yotanka, aka Sitting Bull was arrested on suspicion of leading an uprising. And as we all know, he was killed along with fellow Natives in the gun battle that erupted when he was being lead away. In actuality the true culprit was Wovoka, aka Jack Wilson, who gave great promise of ridding the plains of the White Man via the Ghost Dance.
Sadly, Jacks “visions” of grandeur also lead to the now infamous Wounded Knee Massacre on December 29, 1890, a few days after Sitting Bull was murdered.
In all actually, Between Dec. 15 and Dec. 29 are dayz of mourning for us Skins eh.
